Despite just being the first tests, it's amazing how good Ferrari is doing.
Not too good for McLaren though.
De la Rosa has been impressive too, and that's what make me hope this times are far from what we will see during the championship I'm still wondering what is going on with Sauber, that still doesn´t have an official entry. When are they going to sign the concord agreement? It was nice to watch Kobayashi back on the tracks though 24 cars on track again!!

It's interesting to see how many of the teams have adopted that Red Bull nose cone shape.
Was it just Red Bull using that last year? ------------http://www.f1gaming.com/---------------

Looking forward to seeing what that virgin car can do. The Red Bull is likely to be pretty innovative also what with Adrian Newey still designing it. www.jonners.org (for my blog) Lewis Hamilton's Number 1 fan (on F1 Gamers anyway)

So the Jerez test started yesterday. Here are the times:
Driver Team Best Time Off first Laps 1 N. Rosberg Mercedes GP 01:20.9 57 2 S. Buemi Toro Rosso 01:21.0 0.104 84 3 N. Hülkenberg Williams 01:22.2 1.316 118 4 F. Alonso Ferrari 01:22.9 1.968 88 5 K. Kobayashi Sauber 01:23.3 2.36 55 6 J. Button McLaren 01:24.9 4.02 68 7 V. Liuzzi Force India 01:25.0 4.041 71 8 V. Petrov Renault 01:25.4 4.513 27 9 M. Webber Red Bull Racing 01:26.5 5.575 50 10 T. Glock Virgin Racing 01:38.7 17.807 5
The test was largely affected by rain but it is still disappointing to see Virgin only doing 5 laps. Looks like today they will only complete 11 due to a lack of spare parts. www.jonners.org (for my blog) Lewis Hamilton's Number 1 fan (on F1 Gamers anyway)

After 7 days of testing in Jerez, we have had 7 different fastest drivers so far each day.
Just a nice detail |

Ok, so Lewis toppling latest times, it appears to Schumi as if the Woking based team will be the best of the bunch. Wow, Schu has started his mind games on Hamilton already and now there is Alonso, who has indirectly took Schu's position at Ferrari. With these stalwarts on track fighting and youngies like Vettel trying to best the oldies, i can only imagine myself mind blown at Bahrain. It looks like we will get several very distinct groups this year.
Obviously the main four teams on top, then the other established teams (Williams, Sauber, Renault, Force India and Toro Rosso), before another gap and the new teams.
Even despite this, it looks like it will be very close! Can you confirm you understand the message?

Hang on, why are all the top drivers testing? When you play Grand Prix World or EA F1 Manager they send you e-mails moaning about being made to test the car.... Message edited at 01-03-2010 20:28 GMT by SteveV |
