man, you really are dense
quote: [b]do you see me complaining about it?"
Obviously refers to something - the "it" in this instance is your bug..which I haven't complained about - it was referenced to hakkiman's comment where he sugested I was moaning about something but not doing anyting...
quote: [b]At least 01ff is doing somthing to get this game fixed well you lot just moan about it and do nothing!!!!
Can't wait to see what nonsense you come back with now. |

YZFR, you have it all wrong.
This is not 01FF`s own "precious bug" - its a problem lots of players have experienced - which you will see if you bother to to read any posts except those which satisfy your grudge.
As for 01FF running a "hate campaign", he is just making a legitimate complaint about a big fault in game he likes - why the hell shouldn`t he? And if you haven`t seen this fault I doubt you`ve played pitstop length races much, either that or you quite enjoy having zero challenge in a game.
He hasn`t hijacked the forum - there are plenty of topics about career progress and setups - nobody is hijacking these topics with complaints about bugs.
The only "hate campaign" I see here is yours - as evidenced by your completely irrelevant political comment. |

I know it's a little late but hey, better late than never right. The following Is what I sent off this morning...
Dear Sir/Madam, Please pass on to all relevant persons...
I am sending you this email concerning F1 04 on the PS2 platform. Firstly can I say this game is the best F1 game we have had to date on any console... BUT... and its a big BUT this game has so many flaws and obvious bugs it is unbelievable. The purpose of this letter is not to be negative but to possibly draw your attention to these matters in the hope that they will be resolved in the next release of this popular franchise. The most obvious "bug" is the Ai slow down bug that happens on any race that involves pitting. I can't imagine how the game was released with this glaring issue in the final release version? This must be FIXED for next years version at all costs! It makes the game unplayable/unenjoyable for any Formula One fan, and remains the main reason why this title sits collecting dust in my TV cabinet. If It was possible I would have returned the game for a refund immediately. Trust me I will be more wary next time.
Other issues include: Car numbers on timing screens are incorrect. Ai after a crash will all pile up behind and not drive around an accident. Some Ai cars crash after a in-game save taking themselves out of the race. Career mode sometimes gives you warnings for winning? Logitech Driving Force wheel cannot adjust downforce settings properly. AND LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST IS OF COURSE THE MASSIVE ISSUE OF THE SLOW DOWN BUG.
As mentioned earlier I am taking the time to send you this letter in the hope that someone will take charge and get these issues addressed in the future. Please take the above comments as constructive criticism. Lets just try and make F1 05 the BEST F1 GAME EVER. It's so close i can taste it.
I for one would be absolutely content with next years release to be essentially the same game as F1 04 (the handling is great allready) with updated tracks/drivers/rules and NO BUGS! One other thing that would be great to include would be the possibility of Ai making the occasional mistake during a race or qualifying.
I look Forward to your reply - Kind Regards
